Hunter Boydell is a UK-based film director, actor, producer, and the founder and Managing Director of independent production company Breaking Jar Ltd.

Hunter began directing in 2017, contributing to a major reinvigoration of the film scene in St Andrews, UK. He went on to establish Breaking Jar in 2020 with the aim of changing lives through meaningful stories. The company now produces original media for audiences worldwide, and provides opportunities and training for upcoming artists and filmmakers all around the UK.

Outside of film, Hunter leads a range of creative, business, and philanthropic initiatives. He is a songwriter and music producer, has written his first book, and is a mentor and consultant both in the creative industries and beyond.
